Longer history sits on higher plans: 365 days on Tango Enterprise, 1 year on Whale Advance, and unlimited on Haiku Enterprise, Whale Enterprise and Trainual Premium. No. On the pages we reviewed, an approval or sign-off step is described for Whale, SweetProcess, Process Street, Qualio and Dozuki. It is not described for Haiku, Tango, Scribe and Trainual.

A comment feature is not an approval step: an approval names the approver, records the outcome and stops the version going live until it is approved.

Not yet. Capture-first tools produce a quick first draft by recording each click. Haiku's own guide to the method, published in May 2026, says a captured workflow still needs about 5 to 10 minutes of human review, and that the approach fits decision-tree and compliance-heavy procedures less well. Review, approval and training still have to happen, in the same tool or another one.

No, they cover different things. A SOC 2 Type II report describes how a service provider's security controls operated over a period of time. 21 CFR Part 11 sets controls for electronic records and electronic signatures, including secure, computer-generated, time-stamped audit trails under section 11.10(e). Haiku, Scribe and Tango state SOC 2 Type II on their public pages; of the nine tools, only Qualio states that its e-signatures meet Part 11 and EU Annex 11.
